Cora Agnes Benneson at TFA[edit]

Is this a good time for TFA? How about July 17? - Dank (push to talk) 22:56, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Dank. July 17 would be fine. Best, voorts (talk/contributions) 00:13, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Voorts: I was thinking about writing a blurb (condensing it to 925 to 1025 characters including spaces). Can you pick out two or three things you want me to focus on? - Dank (push to talk) 20:59, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah ... now I see you're away. How does this look? - Dank (push to talk) 04:03, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Looks great. Thanks! voorts (talk/contributions) 09:17, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Signpost: 8 June 2024[edit]

Hi Voorts, I saw you moved CW 24 News to draft on May 29 (for good reasons!) it was "merged back" by GQO on May 30, but I just found today that it still had numerous problems. I corrected several, making the article very skinny. And I'm in serious doubt re. the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, but can't find hard info that this is made up. W\|/haledad (Talk to me) 18:39, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it got nuked pretty quickly. voorts (talk/contributions) 05:14, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Promotion of Addie Viola Smith[edit]

Congratulations, Voorts! The article you nominated, Addie Viola Smith, has been promoted to featured status, recognizing it as one of the best articles on Wikipedia. The nomination discussion has been archived.
This is a rare accomplishment and you should be proud. If you would like, you may nominate it to appear on the Main page as Today's featured article. Keep up the great work! Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) via FACBot (talk) 00:05, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for improving article quality in June, such as this new FA! When should it run for TFA? Any specific day, or just soon? - Today we have a centenarian story (documentation about it by Percy Adlon) and an article that had two sentences yesterday and was up for deletion, and needs a few more citations. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:18, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Soon works for me. I think I have a couple of FAs that I still haven't nominated at TFA. I'm also just getting back from vacation. I hope you're enjoying your summer. Best, voorts (talk/contributions) 01:32, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you today for Well he would, wouldn't he?, introduced: "Tim O'Doherty and I would nominate this article, wouldn't we?" --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:15, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! voorts (talk/contributions) 21:17, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
