Speedy deletion nomination of Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Limited[edit]
Hello খাঁ শুভেন্দু,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Limited for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
Please stop your language-warring - I have had to revert most of your recent edits. Promoting one language over others, by deleting other languages, re-ordering languages and making unsourced language additions, are considered vandalism and will be reverted. Continuing to language-war will lead to you being blocked - so please don't - thanks - Arjayay (talk) 19:11, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Mayurakshi River into Massanjore Dam. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa🍁 (talk) 20:56, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Koushani Mukherjee (Actress), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 2017 Baduria-Basirhat riots requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please check the numbers in Asansol Metropolitan Area. I cannot see where the reference verifies the population, but presumably that can be fixed in due course. However, the main issue at the moment is that this Wikipedia (enwiki) groups digits by three: twelve million three hundred forty five thousand = 12,345,000. That should be done in all the numbers, but particularly in {{IndiaCensusPop}} where the commas are causing a script error. Thanks. Johnuniq (talk) 04:18, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Kolkata Port (2).png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

⚠
Thanks for uploading File:Kolkata Port (2).png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
An article you recently created, MV SSL Kolkata disaster, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. The article is written in poor English, is unclear and incomplete. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. When making significant changes / content removals to articles, while not mandatory, you really should use an edit summary. Without an edit summary stating what you're doing, those patrolling recent changes may revert your edits, because it's entirely unclear why content was removed/changed. Thanks for your consideration. In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
the block is no longer necessary because you
understand what you have been blocked for,
will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. I have been blocked, because CheckUser Proof has determined that this user account has been or may be used abusively. But if you look at my edit history, then you will see that I have not done any abusive editing/promotional editing. I use Jio and Vodafone net from India. The IP address of the mobile company is not stable like the IP address of the WiFi, so the IP of the service provided to the user is changed frequently. I think the IP of any other user is mixed with my IP. Because of which I was blocked. But I did not use any more accounts. Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficiently convincing for any reviewing administrator to take action. খাঁ শুভেন্দু is definitely an editor who is trying to improve Wikimedia projects (specially Bengali Wikipedia). I know him personally and met him in a few Wiki meetups and workshops. It seems he is not understanding the process. My question to him (below) is also unanswered. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalyani, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Hello, I'm Yak79 2.0. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of metro systems, but you didn't provide a reliable source. References have been added/updated for this edit, but including a citation is always needed - not for nothing, WP:Verifiability is one of our core content policies - and not doing it is remarkably harmful when you're updating a previously sourced information: leaving the old, outdated and no more useful references in place instead of updating/replacing them may mislead readers and other fellows editors to believe that the material is properly sourced and may prevent for addressing the issue.

Apologies for the rollback, which was accidental - page jumped just as I was clicking on a wikilink to an article. Have undone that edit so your edit stands as you intended it. Mjroots (talk) 07:45, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate you for creating the article — 2021–2022 Language Movement in Jharkhand. However this movement is not from 2021. Actually it was starting since the creation of the state. I assume that the most preferable title for this page would be Jharkhand language row and movement. Thank You
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
Two copies of this page have been created, in draft space and in article space. It is not necessary to create two copies of the same page, and it annoys the reviewers. This is sometimes done in order to bypass Articles for Creation review. However, if a submitter is ready to have the article in article space, it can be moved into article space, rather than creating a copy. It is common for a page that has been duplicated in draft space and in article space to be nominated for deletion or proposed for deletion.
If the article is kept, this draft should be redirected to the article. If the article is deleted, this draft may be kept for future improvement.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

Thanks for the article! Though the notability, see WP:GNG, WP:NFILM, IMHO is borderline; other than the press releases/routine announcements, there are two reviews from The Telegraph (India) and The Times of India. However, per the perennial sources list, WP:RSP, the latter is marginally reliable. Unfortunately, my WP:BEFORE didn't find any reviews that is significant coverage, so the notability is borderline, IMO.

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username DoubleGrazing, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Dighi Port, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

Hi খাঁ শুভেন্দু, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Hi খাঁ শুভেন্দু. After reviewing your request, I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 5 June 2023. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Airplaneman(talk)✈23:37, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Manush - Child of Destiny. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and Does not meet WP:NFF criteria.
I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

The problem with your edit to Tangail Saree (West Bengal) is not that it cites Prothom Alo. I agree with you that Prothom Alo is one of the most reputable newspapers in Bangladesh. The problem is that it cites an opinion piece (editorial, op-ed, or commentary). As the guideline on reliable sources explains, an opinion piece is a reliable source for the writer's opinion, but is not a reliable source for facts.
The opinion piece claims that a journal article says something. Since the opinion piece shouldn't be cited for this, the usual solution would be to read the journal article and cite it directly. That doesn't work in this case because the article is in Research on Humanities and Social Sciences, which is a predatory journal - one of very low quality that has no meaningful peer-review. Such journals are not reliable, and should not be cited on Wikipedia.
Rafsan Ghalib, the author of the opinion piece, is a mathematician working as a journalist who has published some poetry, so not remotely an expert on the economic history of the South Asian textile industry. If he had been an expert in the field, he would have known that the journal article he wrote about is junk. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:43, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
